 Barton Young People's Centre is in the basement of Barton Neighbourhood Centre, Underhill Circus, Headington, Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX3 9LS. See it on a map. Go through the main doors, head downstairs and to the right, and follow the signs.
Activities for young people in the centre are organised by lots of different groups in the community. Youth Support Service run a weekly youth club in the centre. There are also ongoing projects and access to further support, contact the club for more details.
There's a regular Connexions drop-in held on Wednesday afternoons.
There is a regular evening club, and also access to the city holiday and half-term programmes which include joint activities with Rose Hill, Wood Farm and Blackbird Leys youth centres, including trips, sports and outdoor activities.
There are also regular projects and events from the Oxfordshire Junior Sports Club, check out their website for fun activities including multisports, football and fun-weeks at various locations around Barton.

Barton Boys Football - Tue 4.30-7.30pm
Football for Barton boys aged 13-19, come along to the centre, get involved.
Barton Girls Group - Tue 6.30-8.30pm
Lots of activities for girls and young women, contact Melanie at Barton Y-C for more information and details of how to join.
Connexions drop-in - Weds 2-4pm
Held on the 2nd and 4th wednesday of the month only, information and support for 16-19 year olds.
young womens football - Wed 5-8pm
If you're a young woman aged 13-19 who's into football (or thinks they might be!) Barton has a young women's football team. Go along to the centre or contact Melanie to find out more.
Barton Youth Group - Thu 6-8.30pm
General youth club with pool, table tennis, sports, snacks, information + trained youth workers to talk to if you want.
Saturday - projects
There are occasional workshops, activities or other events on Saturday or during school hols and half terms. Get in touch to find out more. |
