Programme

Bodyzone - Tue 1-2pm
Lunchtime information drop-in where you can talk to a youth worker and school nurse about health, lifestyle and emotional issues, including drugs, bullying and sexual health
Connexions Drop-in - Tues 4-5pm
Want to see a Connexions Personal Advisor? Laura and Pauline are here every Tuesday to see young people who want some information and advice about college
courses / Sixth form / looking for a job / applying to Uni
Youth Club - Tues 7-9.30pm
Drop in evening session and Youth Club for all, drop into the centre or Facebook and say hi
Rural Youth Project - Thu 3-4.30pm
Out in the sticks? You can still use the young peoples centre. Contact the centre to find out how!
Extended Schools session - Thu 3 - 4.30pm
Session for year 8's at Bartholomew's, come along after school for chill, activities, more.
YOUTH COMMITTEE - Thu 5-7pm monthly
The youth committee is involved in raising funds for the centre & running activities for everyone. Speak to one of the team for more info.
Chill out sessions - Fridays 7.15-9.45pm
Open on friday nights for Youth Club chill out session.
Sports centre sessions for Football/Basketball
on the 2nd Friday of every month 9-9.55pm

Eynsham Young People's Centre is based on the Bartholomew School site, near to the Back Lane entrance.

The Centre is open for various youth clubs during the week & aims to be a centre that is a good place to go and engages young people in diverse & engaging ways. There's a Bodyzone on Tues lunchtime where you can discuss health, lifestyle and emotional concerns with trained health and youth workers. We also provide support & information to young people on Sexual Health & Relationships/Drugs & Alcohol/Money/School & College/Family stuff & pretty much anything to do with life!

We have loads going on with our Music Studio, an XBOX/Wii/PS3, CD & Old Skool DJ decks, pool table, street dance, table football, table tennis, EYC food nights or just chill & watch our 42" flatscreen tv.

Holiday special events

There are usually special events and activities planned for holidays and half terms, what happens varies accoring to what young people coming to the centre want, if you want to be involved in planning or taking part. See below for one of our spring half term 2010 activities.

Online Rural Project

Do you live in Eynsham, Stanton Hardcourt, Standlake, Cassington, Hanborough or Freeland? We're online every Thursday between 3.30 & 5pm on Thursday chatting and offering information and support on any issue that you need want to talk about - check out our facebook page for moe info'.

Mini Refurbishment is finished

The centre is has just completed its mini refurbishment, with a new chill out space with gaming equipment & flat screen tele, a new tv area with the most comfy sofas!

The Music Studio

We have cleaned up the practice room, set up the decks and are wanting a group to get involved in the developing the music studio and creating a mural! If interested chat to Lewii down at the centre.
