At School
Every school should provide access to Connexions Advisers. From about year 9 you will be introduced to them, perhaps during a special class or assembly. There should be a Connexions Office in your school, which you can drop into during regular sessions, or visit to arrange a meeting with a Connexions Personal Adviser.
If you can't find a Connexions Office, ask for your connexions or careers teacher.
In your local town
Connexions Centres are offices in town centres. These have regular opening hours and you can drop in, or make an appointment if you need more support.
Find your Connexions Centre.
At an Connexions access or outreach location
You can also access connexions through outreach sessions, where Connexions workers visit community centres, young people's centres and other local organisations and locations for drop-in sessions, job clubs etc. You might find these in local town halls, community centres, youth centres and other locations. Some run weekly, others once or twice a month, or less often, depending on demand.
You local Connexions Centre can help you find a local access point that works for you.

At your local Young People's Centre or project
There are Young People's Centres in many towns around Oxfordshire, and many of them organise connexions projects (sometimes called Homework Clubs or Job Clubs) in their centres or at other locations in smaller towns and villages. You can access information and support there, and also talk to trained Youth Workers about any problems you have.

Advice about particular issues
Worried about something in particular, like drugs, bereavement, problems with your parents or housing?
A Connexions Personal Adviser can put you in touch with the specialist support you need; and they'll check up on you, to make sure it suits you, and you're getting what you need.
You can also read about all sorts of issues, and find local groups and contacts who can help, in the Young Person's Survival Guide right here on Spired.com.
