Young Person's learning fairs are happening around the county from 26th - 29th August. All young people are welcome to come along and find out more about the opportunities available to stay in learning - Colleges, apprenticeships, e2e (entry to employment), and other learning providers are bringing displays about their courses.
Connexions will be there to provide information on all of the options available to you and the financial support that you may be entitled to.

Oxfordshire's course finder is the best place to look for courses, qualifications and training opportunities available to 14-19 year olds in Oxfordshire. Also known as the Oxfordshire Prospectus, you can check it out online here.
Sportiv8 open day 21st August Sportive 8 are a new e2e scheme in Oxfordshire, run from the Kassam Stadium in Oxford. Learning is based in the Kassam computer suite in the morning, and in the afternoon concentrates on team building through sports. Talk to your local Connexions worker about how to secure a referral or contact Ed Duckham, Study Support Centre Manager. There's an open day for potential trainees on 21st August 10-1pm .
Opportunities for young people, including apprenticeships, voluntary and personal development placements, e2e and training/courses are available from your local Connexions office and include jobs and other opportunities all over Oxfordshire. You can also access these lists online, on the Connexions Opportunities page, updated weekly every tuesday.
They want to hear from you Looking for a chance to have your say? If you're a young person with experience of health difficulties, Youth Health Talk want to record your experiences. They say it'll help others in the same boat. At the moment they're interested in talking to young people aged 16-20 who have experience of being overweight, and young people aged 16-25 with experience of depression or feeling persistently low. Find out more.
Film, activities and Arts opportunities Summer is time for summer projects. Why not visit your Local Youth Centre to find out what's on offer? Typical summer activities include canoeing, outdoor adventure, parties, gigs and BBQs, trips and visits and film arts and music projects. Big independent local workshop and activity schemes include BBC Oxford and OFVM's Summerscreen and the BBC Blast Roadshow which visits Oxford in August.
