Your Year 11 pack

Not sure what you're doing next?

If you're in Year 11 (aged 16 or 17) and undecided about what you're doing next, Connexions can help you decide between the options. The September Guarantee promises all young people an offer of a post-16 learning place that meets their needs.

You can get information, advice and guidance about continuing in learning, training or an apprenticeship from Connexions Advisers:

Here's last year's September Guarantee pack to browse while we're waiting for the 2010 set...

Looking for a course or a particular subject?

If you know what you'd like to study, Connexions can help you. You can find out which Colleges offer your subject using the Oxfordshire Prospectus, a website which lists courses, diplomas and other study options. You can also phone or visit your local Connexions centre and talk to a Connexions adviser.

Not sure you want to stay in learning?

If you want to go directly to employment, Connexions can also help you. Many jobs for young people allow you to continue learning as you work, gaining more qualifications. A Connexions Adviser can tell you about local vacancies for young people, help you make better applications and offer advise and interview practice.

Interested in an apprenticeship?

If you're interested in becoming an apprentice, Connexions can help you. You can find out about local opportunities for apprenticeships using the National Apprenticeship matching website, or by asking about apprenticeships at your local Connexions Centre. There are also apprenticeships listed on this website every week.

Not sure what you want to do?

If you feel confused by the options and not sure what you want to do, then Connexions can help. The E2E (Entry 2 Employment) scheme helps you have fun while figuring out what you want to do next. You can attend E2E alongside a part-time job or while receiving benefits. Even if you already know what you want to do, E2E can help you take the first steps. E2E opportunities are listed on this website every week, or you can find out about E2E at your local Connexions centre.
