About ChYPIN

What is ChYPIN?

ChYPIN is a network which aims to create ways for children and young people aged 0-19 in Oxfordshire to have their views heard and to become more actively involved in planning and decision-making.

ChYPIN is part of the Involvement and Participation strategy, which was endorsed by the Children and Young People's board in July 2006.

We encourage as many diverse groups as possible to join the ChYPIN events. We also encourage children and young people who might not usually have opportunities to meet with adult leaders to air their views and opinions.
