The Vale Youth Forum worked with staff from Vale of White Horse District Council and the Spired.com Web Wditor to create special sections on Spired.com for the Vale Youth Forum. As well as creating their own section, design ideas from the group were used to inspire new sections on Spired.com, and help make sure it reflected the ideas and creativity of local young people.
The first website was designed in 2006. You can see what it looked like here. Designing it was a fun process involving a group of young people, a big table, some laptops, cameras, felt tips and lots of design materials. If you run a youth group in Oxfordshire, and would be interested in doing something similar, please email the web editor.
This page shows the website redesign, which was made in 2008. Web Editor Jeremy (who helped put the site together) describes it as "attractive, readable, and tasteful! One of the prettiest designs I've ever worked on."
