Using the checklist
This checklist is suitable for use by:
- children’s services, such as education, social services, health services,
- childcare services
- voluntary organisations of all sizes
- services which impact on children, such as housing, leisure, environment
- users of services, to ensure they know they are entitled to receive services in line with these rights.
This checklist represents standards to work towards. It is not expected that every agency or organisation will be able to achieve them all at once, but by completing the self-checking form, organisations can work towards fully integrating childrens rights into their practice.
