What if my school doesn't have a Bodyzone?

If you're not at school, or your school doesn't have a Bodyzone, read on:
- If your school doesn't have a Bodyzone, you can talk to your School Health Nurse. Conversations with the nurse are confidential.
- You can make an appointment to see your doctor without your parents' knowledge or consent no matter how old you are. Doctors will keep your visits confidential as long as they feel sure that you understand what is going on and you are not in serious danger.
- If you don't want to get help at school you can talk to workers at your local youth centre. Other youth groups may also be able to give you health advice, or tell you where to find it.
- You can also get free and confidential sexual health advice from any family planning or genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic.
So although Bodyzone may make is easier for you by bringing a team to the school, just because you don't have one in your school doesn't mean that you can't get the same advice and support — you just have to access it in different ways.
