Housing - a place to live
Finding somewhere to live can be one of the most stressful activities a person goes through.
But it can also be very exciting to move into your own place or become more independent.
Whether you're contributing more to your current household, moving for a job or a course or moving out on your own, it's a great opportunity to learn about what you want, as well as about laws, rights and responsibilities — not to mention all the skills you need to take care of your own place, such as cooking, cleaning, and paying bills.
This section of the Survival Guide provides information for young people about housing, no matter what your housing situation.
In this section
- Living at home
- Time to move out?
