Youth Centres in Oxfordshire are open throughout the year for projects, events, clubs, fun, activities and informal learning. But for many youth centres, the summer holidays are a busy time of year, with special projects, classes, events and interesting things to do to keep people going through the summer holidays.

The events described in this gallery were organised by workers at the Blackbird Leys Youth Centre, where recent activities include DJ-ing classes, club nights, art groups and trips to go bowling, to the beach and more.

Highlight of the summer programme, though, were the parks days; a series of visits to parks around Oxford with activities, BBQ, street dance, sport, music and more.
