What is counselling?
- Counselling is about finding ways of coping with conflict, pressure or painful life experiences.
- Counselling can help you to come to terms with losses or difficult changes.
- Counselling is about looking at ways of making choices for yourself.
- Counselling can help you explore difficult relationships.
- Counselling may help you to better understand yourself and your feelings.
Face2Face recognises that it is difficult for young people to struggle alone with these issues. They know that children and young people sometimes just need to talk to someone who will listen to them.
Face2Face offer free and confidential weekly sessions with fully trained Counsellors with a particular interest in young people’s issues. The number of weekly sessions is negotiated between the young person and the counsellor.
