Anti-Bullying Week 2008
17-21 November is anti-bullying week in the UK, and in Oxfordshire a group of children and young people are organising activities for Oxfordshire's own Anti-Bullying Week, which this year has the theme of 'Respect Me, Respect You', including a county-wide survey about how to stop bullying - you can have your say here.
Want to have your say on bullying? You can share stories and ideas here.
You can get started on anti-bullying activities early by taking part in a poster competition to celebrate diversity and difference and say NO to bullying.
Fancy taking part? As well as your work going to help promote anti-bullying next year, you could win:
- 1st prize. Ipod Shuffle or High Street Gift Vouchers value £30 and £100 for your school or group to spend on Anti-Bullying work
- 2nd prize. £20 High Street Gift Vouchers and £50 for your school or group to spend on Anti-Bullying work
The deadline is Friday 28th November 2008 and the judging is happening on Friday 5th December. The judges are adults, children and young people from the Anti-Bullying Week organizing group and Safeguarding Board. They'll write to you at your school, project or centre if you win, so must include those details with your entry.
Remember, in order to enter:
- Poster must be all your own work
- Poster must be A4 size
- You must be under 18
- You must include the name of your school, project or group
Otherwise, it's up to you!
