Vinvolved Launch Party

The Oxfordshire Vinvolved Team are hosting a launch party in the Oxford Town Hall on the 25th of July, and all local young people are invited to come along and join the party.

There are activities, opportunities, and even free ice cream!

What's your passion?

What makes your heart beat faster? Do you have a passion for sport, music, art, or the environment?

Vinvolved offers young people in Oxfordshire exciting volunteering opportunities to match their passion, by putting them in touch with a national network of youth experts, innovative projects and volunteering champions through Vinvolved local teams. These teams help young people find the volunteering opportunities they want and recruit Youth Action Teams to promote youth-led community action.

Oxfordshire's Vinvolved launch party is on the 25th of July 2008 at the Oxford Town Hall, St Aldates, OX1 1BX. Young people can drop in between 2pm and 4pm for:

• Activities from Oxford United Football Club
• Ice cream from G&Ds
• Volunteering opportunities for young people
• Pampering by Lush and the Body Shop
• Displays from local volunteer groups
• Arts activities from Fusion
• More volunteering opportunities
• And more

Who are Vinvolved?

The national Vinvolved programme aims to inspire 1 MILLION young people aged 16-25 to get positively involved in their communities over the next three years through voluntary and community actions.
