Youth Health Talk wants your stories!

Youth Health Talk website - full of interesting stories Youth Health Talk collects young people's experiences of health issues, and uses them to inform research into better treatments for young people, and records them online so young people can read about other people in the same situation as them. You can read them online yourself by visiting the Youth Health Talk Website.

Now they're doing two new rounds of research, one looking at young people's experiences of being depressed or persistently unhappy, and another looking at experiences of being overweight.

To help with the young people, weight and health website, they need to talk to young people aged 16-20 who:

To help with the young people and depression website, they need to talk to young people aged 16-25 who have experienced depression or ongoing low mood.

If you've been in these situations, you can help others. Listening to similar experiences can provide support and help people realise that they are not alone. You can choose whether we use a video, audio or text version of your interview. You can even have an actor speak your words!

How does it work?

If you decide to take part and are over 16, a researcher will arrange to visit you and ask you to talk about your experiences or make a video or photo diary.
