Abingdon Bridge

There's a trick to using the badge machineThe Abingdon Bridge is a drop-in centre for young people aged 13-25 on Bridge Street in Abingdon offering information, support and more.

There's a young parents group, advice on housing and sexual health, and more, including a computer club; and it was the computer club that got the visit from Spired.com!

flowers, faces and no war pleaseThe first session was badgemaking, and produced slogans about Abingdon, war, peace and transport, among other things!

The second session was making signs about important issues, like animal rights, bullying and peace, which were then made into t-shirts, to take away and wear!

Recent events meant that peace, though still an important topic, was not on everyone's mindsThe slogans chosen sparked off discussion about drugs, bullying, and more.
