Aged under 18? Then you can sign up to Oxfordshire's Safety Card scheme to get free condoms, alongside advice and information about sexual health and relationships.

How does it work?

You can sign up to the Safety Card scheme at Young People's centres, Connexions Centres and other youth and health projects across Oxfordshire. Follow this link to find your nearest venue:

When you visit, you will be offered training from specially trained professionals on how to use condoms safely. Plus you'll get information about sexual health, condoms, contraception, relationships, feeling ready, respect and more.

Chlamydia

Condoms provide protection against Sexually Transmitted Infection (STIs) but if you have ever had unprotected sex you may be at risk of an STI. Chlamydia is the most common Sexually Transmitted Infection among young people who are sexually active.

Chlamydia is invisible and easily spread. It is serious if left untreated but is easy to
test for.

Condoms provide protection against STIs, but there's a way to be even more sure.

In Oxfordshire, young people aged 15-24 can order a free confidential chalmydia test from free-test.me.

Emergency Hormonal Contraception, also called EHC or the "Morning After Pill", helps stop you getting pregnant when your usual contraception fails. You can download lists of pharmacists which offer free EHC to young women aged under 18 in Oxfordshire, with opening times, right here.
